Position Overview

Sales and Reservations

• Use sales techniques and upselling to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points and enter rewards information into the appropriate software.
• Answer, record, and process guest calls, requests, questions, and concerns.
• Promote brand image internally and externally.

Guest and Office Support

• Contact appropriate departments to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
• Determine and provide complimentary items such as rewards points, show tickets, or gift certificates.
• Perform filing, emailing, typing, faxing, and other general office duties supporting Sales & Marketing.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and respond to employee concerns.

Team Support and Standards

• Assist management with training and motivating employees and serve as a role model.
• Monitor performance to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Follow company policies, maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, and maintain a clean professional appearance.
• Prepare and review written documents accurately and communicate using clear professional language.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is listed as a preferred qualification.
• At least 2 years of related work experience is listed as a preferred qualification.
• No supervisory experience is listed as required.

Location and Work Setting
