Multi-Property Assistant Sales Manager - Leisure

Position Summary

Core Responsibilities

• Contact Sales, Data Administration, Accounting, or other departments to resolve guest issues.
• Use upselling and other sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
• Provide approved complimentary rewards or gifts to guests for their patronage.
• Promote brand image internally and externally.
• Process Marriott Rewards redemption requests and enter rewards information into reservation software.
• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Answer, record, and process guest calls, questions, requests, and concerns.
• Perform filing, email, typing, faxing, and other general office duties for Sales and Marketing.
• Assist management with training and motivating employees and serve as a role model.
• Maintain professional communication, appearance, confidentiality, and company assets.
• Develop positive working relationships and support shared team goals.
• Monitor performance against quality expectations and standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required or listed.
• No specific license or certification is listed.

Workplace and Schedule

• The position is located at Baniyas Road, Deira, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
• The schedule is full time.
