Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Serve guests according to Anantara standards for food and beverage quality, presentation, and sanitation.
• Display professional hospitality when interacting with guests.
• Maintain service quality, personal appearance, and cleanliness in the assigned work area.
• Follow beverage department standard operating procedures and identify improvement opportunities.
• Set up the bar at the beginning of each shift with liquor, ice, glassware, juices, garnishes, and other required items.
• Process drink orders in the proper calling order and manage billing accurately, promptly, and efficiently.
• Prepare cocktails according to the Anantara Standard Beverage Manual using full standard measures.
• Receive and check liquor against the previous shift's requisitions and report discrepancies to the F&B Supervisor.
• Maintain security and control within the work area and remain at the bar unless properly relieved.
• Maintain bar and work-area cleanliness, including floors, cans, bottles, rails, counters, and ice bins.
• Follow responsible alcohol usage guidelines, including not serving underage or inappropriately intoxicated guests.

• The work location is Anantara Downtown Dubai, a hotel and resort property.

Requirements

• Ability to follow beverage department standard operating procedures.
• Ability to prepare cocktails according to the Anantara Standard Beverage Manual using full standard measures.
• Ability to maintain food and beverage sanitation, cleanliness, and professional personal appearance.
• Ability to follow responsible alcohol service guidelines, including refusing service to underage or inappropriately intoxicated guests.
