The Mitigation Technician is responsible for assessing affected areas, performing mitigation services, and documenting all work to industry and company standards.

This is a hands-on role that requires physical labor, attention to detail, and consistent communication with clients and team members.

• Conduct assessments of damaged properties to identify scope of work and required mitigation steps.
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, dehumidification, demolition, and moisture mapping.
• Assist with mold remediation and fire/smoke damage cleanup.
• Maintain accurate documentation including photos, moisture readings, job notes, and material tracking.
• Set up, monitor, and maintain equipment such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA filtration units.
• Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure efficient job completion.
• Follow all safety standards, PPE requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with clients to explain processes and provide updates.
