In this role you will:
Supervise operational activities to enable the delivery of continuous safe operations.
Ensure safe, quality work execution of trades and contractors.
Promotes compliance of work instruction and operational procedures.
Drive business improvement through the measurement of BHP's performance.
Translate corporate objectives into actionable plans, communicating, managing and analyzing the implementation of those plans, and reporting back on their progress to facilitate the delivery of our strategy.
Identify and assess risks, makes risk informed decisions, uses BHP's risk management framework and builds a risk aware culture to support safe and productive performance outcomes.
Conduct routine operational and safety meetings to effectively prepare for and manage operational workload.
Evaluate safety and operational performance and drives changes to maximise safety, cost and volume performance through processes, equipment and technology initiatives.
Embed practices/tools that enable teams to proactively identify improvement opportunities and detect deviations within daily mining and production activities across a site.
About You
5+ Years mining Supervisor experience.
Prior experience leading a team or training experience is recommended.
Red Seal Certification (Trade roles).
Mine Supervisor Certification.
Demonstrated experience in managing teams and overseeing projects.
Strong communication skills.
Aptitude for building and maintaining strong relationships.
