Role Overview
Develop and maintain short and medium-term mine schedules to meet production targets and client requirements.
Monitor mining performance against budget and forecast, identifying cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and monthly cost reporting processes.
Track and analyse key mining metrics, including productivity, equipment utilisation, dilution, recovery, and mining costs.
Prepare and review mine designs, haul road layouts, and production plans using mining software packages.
Conduct field inspections and audits to ensure compliance with mine designs, operating standards, and safety requirements.
Complete production reconciliations and provide accurate reporting on mining performance.
Investigate operational variances and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Liaise closely with Operations, Survey, Geology, and Maintenance departments to coordinate mining activities and optimise outcomes.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to support operational decision-making.
