Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise daily open-pit mining operations, including drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, dumping, and road maintenance.
- Lead field-level safety compliance, toolbox talks, risk control verification, and pre-start coordination.
- Ensure execution of the approved mine plan, daily priorities, and operating instructions.
- Coordinate contractor manpower, equipment deployment, and shift readiness.
- Monitor production performance, delays, equipment utilization, and operational constraints.
- Inspect work areas, haul roads, dumps, ramps, berms, signage, and access controls.
- Escalate unsafe conditions, deviations, equipment issues, and contractor non-compliance.
- Maintain shift logs, production records, safety observations, and handover notes.
- Support incident investigations, audits, inspections, and emergency response activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- An engineering degree in Mining is required.
- At least 8 years of experience in the mining industry is required.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Mining Supervisor is required.
- Strong knowledge of open-pit mining operations and contractor supervision is required.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and safety management skills are required.
- Candidates must be willing to relocate to a remote mining site in Saudi Arabia.
