Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• 1. Interest and ability to work on highwall design and as-built wall control parameters and/or blast design and quality control. 2. Ability to work and learn to operate instrumentation in the field in a variety of weather conditions and return to the office for data analysis and project development. 3. Working knowledge and skill with P.C. utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software. 4. Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills. 5. General understanding of mining operations, as well as limited understanding of milling and maintenance operations. 6. Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management. 7. Ability to work independently and also as a member of the management team. 8. Demonstrates strong administrative, organizational and technical writing skills 9. Must be 18 years old and presently authorized to work in the United States on a full time basis. 10. Requires valid driver’s license. 11. Minimum of 2 years towards engineering or related Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 year engineering experience. 12. Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative. 13. Hard working Team Player. 14. Responsible to manage the RMGC Environmental Health and Safety Management system in his/her areas of responsibility.
