Responsibilities include
- Design tasks from preliminary to final design for DOT, County, and Municipal clients
- Analyzing and preparing engineering reports, and construction cost estimates for various transportation design projects
- Assisting with construction administration and inspection tasks including working in the field at project sites (weekends and nights, as needed)
- May assist with client contact, meetings, and communication pertain to specific projects
- Other duties as assigned
- A valid driver’s license and some travel will be required.
- The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil engineering from an accredited college or university and at least 4 years of experience. A PE license is required.
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following
Wisconsin PE
Transportation design experience
Demonstrated experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, MS office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Prior experience with WisDOT design and construction projects preferred
