Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Consultant

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements and perform fit-gap analysis.
• Configure and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations modules.
• Prepare functional and technical design documentation.
• Support integrations with Azure, Power Platform, REST APIs, HRMS, banking, and third-party applications.
• Manage data migration, workflows, reporting, security, and system configuration.
• Coordinate SIT, UAT, deployments, and post-go-live support.
• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience Requirements

• 7–12+ years of ERP implementation experience, including at least 5 years with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, is required.
• End-to-end D365 F&O implementation, ERP migration, integrations, data migration, and production support experience is required.

Functional Expertise

• Finance expertise covering GL, AP, AR, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, and Budgeting is required.
• Supply Chain Management expertise is required.
• Procurement and Inventory Management expertise is required.
• Project Operations and Human Resources expertise is required.
• Financial Reporting and Electronic Reporting expertise is required.

Technical Expertise

• D365 F&O, X++, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services, and Data Management Framework expertise is required.
• OData, REST APIs, Business Events, SSRS, and SQL Server expertise is required.
• Power Platform, Azure Integration Services, Microsoft Entra ID, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams experience is required.

Additional Qualifications

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills are required.
• Microsoft certifications such as MB-310, MB-330, PL-200, PL-600, or AZ-900 are beneficial.
• Large-scale ERP transformation experience and knowledge of Azure-based integrations and enterprise application architecture are beneficial.
