Job Summary
Oversee restaurants, bars, and room service operations where applicable.
Supervise daily operations, support menu planning, maintain sanitation standards, and assist front-of-house staff during peak periods.
Improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing financial performance and implementing training plans.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED plus four years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or a related professional area.
- Alternatively, a two-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major plus two years of related experience.
Day-to-Day Operations
- Supervise and manage employees and maintain service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar, lounge, and room service areas.
- Review staffing levels to meet guest service, operational, and financial objectives.
- Assist servers and hosts on the floor during meal periods and high-demand times.
- Supervise daily shift operations when the Assistant Restaurant Manager is absent.
