Restaurant Manager role in Food and Beverage and Culinary at West Bay, Doha, Qatar.
The position manages restaurant, bar, and room service operations where applicable.
The schedule is full time and the position is not remote.
Core responsibilities
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, employees, staffing levels, service quality, and financial objectives.
- Maintain service, food handling, sanitation, liquor law, and other applicable compliance standards.
- Lead, coach, mentor, train, and develop food and beverage employees.
- Handle guest problems and complaints, gather feedback, and continuously improve service results.
- Assist servers and hosts during peak meal periods and supervise shifts when the Assistant Restaurant Manager is absent.
- Oversee purchasing, invoice payments, and other departmental financial activities.
Candidate profile
- High school diploma or GED plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a two-year related degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.
- Relevant education may include food service management, hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or a related major.
- The role requires operational leadership, employee development, guest service, compliance, and problem-solving capability.
