Metrology Technician

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Data entry and computer skills (including Microsoft Excel)
• Knowledge of metrology gauging and strong working knowledge of GD&T (read and interpret)
• Knowledge of reading blueprints and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Knowledge of mechanical inspection and proficiency in the use of manual & visual inspection equipment: e.g., calipers, gauges, micrometers, digital indicators, surface plates, microscopes, profilometers
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and mechanical Inspection
• Experience with inspection equipment and tools (such as portable CMM, micrometers, calipers)
• Desired Qualifications:
• MiniTab experience is a plus
• Updating and creating work instructions
• Competencies:

• Ability to work in a team environment and to foster positive relationships with all functional groups
• Desire to learn and to apply new skills
• Problem solving skills with an organized and analytical approach.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to ever-changing fast-paced manufacturing demands
• Additional Information:
• This is a 1st shift position. 1st shift is Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm.
