- Ensure metadata is treated as a strategic asset, enabling trusted, discoverable, lineage aware, and audit ready data products across enterprise data platforms
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in Metadata Management, Data Governance, Data Engineering, or Analytics Engineering
- Experience with Metadata Management & Data Catalogs
- Experience with Data Lineage & Data Traceability
- Experience with Data Governance & Data Quality
- Proficiency in SQL & Metadata Validation
- Experience with ETL/ELT Pipelines & Data Integration
- Experience with Data Warehousing / Lakehouse Architectures
- Experience with Metadata Repositories & Catalog Platforms
- Experience with Data Classification, Ownership & Stewardship
- Experience within government or large enterprise environments (preferred)
- Exposure to audit, compliance, and regulatory data requirements (preferred)
- Hands on experience with metadata platforms such as Purview, Collibra, Alation, Informatica EDC, Atlan, DataHub, or similar (preferred)

- We are currently seeking an experienced Metadata Specialist to join a major government data transformation initiative.
- This role will be responsible for ensuring metadata is treated as a strategic asset, enabling trusted, discoverable, lineage aware, and audit ready data products across enterprise data platforms.
Key Experience Required
- 5–8 years of experience in Metadata Management, Data Governance, Data Engineering, or Analytics Engineering
