About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Merchant Partnership Manager to join our Abu Dhabi team.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end merchant lifecycle—from onboarding and acquiring to ongoing relationship management—focusing on Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solutions and merchant acquiring platforms.

You will collaborate cross-functionally to drive adoption, optimize seller experiences, and achieve partnership growth targets.

Responsibilities

Identify, prospect, and secure new merchant partnerships to drive BNPL and acquiring adoption

Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for sellers, ensuring a seamless technical and operational integration

Develop and execute strategies to increase transaction volume and revenue through merchant acquiring channels

Serve as the primary point of contact for merchant partners, addressing technical and non-technical inquiries

Negotiate commercial terms and partnership agreements in alignment with business objectives

Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and operations teams to deliver solutions that meet partner needs

Monitor partner performance metrics and implement initiatives to optimize engagement and retention

Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and regulatory developments in Abu Dhabi and the wider GCC market

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in merchant partnerships, acquiring, or seller onboarding roles

Technical expertise with BNPL platforms and merchant acquiring systems

Proven track record of building and managing strategic non-technical partnerships

Hands-on experience with end-to-end seller onboarding processes

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in fintech or payments within the UAE/GCC region

Familiarity with local regulatory requirements and compliance standards

Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s) in a relevant discipline

Fluency in English and Arabic

Experience with CRM or partnership management tools such as Salesforce
