Role overview
The Merchandiser ensures effective product presentation, availability, and visibility across assigned retail outlets.
The role supports the Consumer Sales team by maintaining displays, monitoring stock, implementing merchandising standards, and identifying sales opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure products are properly displayed, organized, and positioned according to approved merchandising guidelines.
- Regularly check product availability and stock levels at assigned outlets.
- Monitor out-of-stock, low-stock, damaged, expired, or slow-moving products.
- Coordinate with store personnel and the Sales team to address stock availability issues.
- Support the Consumer Sales team in achieving sales and distribution objectives.
- Identify sales opportunities based on product availability, shelf position, customer demand, and competitor activity.
- Regularly visit assigned outlets and coordinate with store teams.
Experience and requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in merchandising, retail sales, FMCG, consumer sales, or a related field.
- Experience with retail outlets, pharmacies, supermarkets, or other consumer-facing channels is preferred.
- A Qatar driving license is required.
