Overview
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming MEP materials (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Ensure proper documentation for all materials received, issued, and stored.
- Maintain accurate records in the store system (manual and/or ERP).
- Organize and store materials systematically to ensure easy identification and access.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess materials to the procurement/team lead.
- Issue materials to site teams as per approved requests and maintain proper tracking.
- Conduct regular stock checks and physical inventory audits.
- Ensure proper handling and storage conditions to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration of materials.
- Coordinate with procurement and site engineers for material requirements and deliveries.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store area.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and procedures.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock and material reports.
- Handle returns, damaged materials, and discrepancies in coordination with suppliers.
