About the Role
We are seeking an experienced MEP Estimator and Planner to manage the estimation and planning of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for construction.

- Review project plans and specifications to estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for MEP systems
- Prepare accurate cost breakdowns and manage the bidding process
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs of MEP materials and labor requirements
- Develop and manage the project timeline for MEP installations
- Plan and allocate materials, labor, and equipment efficiently to meet project needs
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure coordination
- Monitor project expenses, comparing actual costs with estimates, and recommend cost saving measures
- Identify and address potential scheduling or cost risks to prevent delays or budget overruns
- Provide regular updates on MEP costs, schedules, and issues affecting timelines or budgets
Requirements
- Experience in MEP estimation and planning for construction projects
- Expertise in cost estimation, quantity takeoffs, and project scheduling for MEP systems
- Ability to manage bidding process and prepare accurate cost breakdowns
- Strong collaboration skills to work with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors
