MEP Engineer

Role Overview

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Requires 5–10 years of relevant MEP construction experience.
• Experience in building, villa, hotel, or hospitality projects is required.
• Dubai or UAE construction experience is preferred.
• Hotel or high-end building project experience is advantageous.
• International experience, particularly in Ethiopia or Africa, is advantageous.
• Strong hotel or hospitality project experience and large-scale building or villa construction experience are preferred.

Required Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of MEP drawings, installation, coordination, and site execution.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise MEP works at site.
• Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other MEP activities.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate MEP works with architectural, structural, and civil teams.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Resolve technical issues, RFIs, and site coordination conflicts.
• Monitor MEP works for compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and de-snagging.
• Review material submittals, method statements, and as-built drawings.
• Provide technical guidance to MEP supervisors and site teams.

Pay

• Pay starts from AED 10,000 per month.

Work Location

• The work location is in person in Dubai.
