Role Overview
The MEP Coordinator supports ALEC FITOUT projects by ensuring seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems into high-quality interiors.
The role reports to the Project Manager or MEP Lead and works with design, site, consultant, subcontractor, and fit-out teams.

Your Role
- Develop MEP plans with architects, project managers, and stakeholders to meet fit-out construction requirements.
- Conduct site visits, assess installation progress, identify issues, and check compliance with design specifications.
- Review and approve MEP design drawings and coordinate discrepancies or required modifications.
- Source, evaluate, and oversee MEP subcontractors and vendors.
- Monitor MEP budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maintain system quality and efficiency.
- Implement quality control, inspections, and testing throughout construction.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards and collaborate with authorities.
- Resolve MEP-related construction issues with project teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
- 10+ years of proven MEP coordination experience in fit-out construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in MEP design and project management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic construction environment.
