Role Overview
The MEP Engineer plans, coordinates, and supervises mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works at construction sites.
The role ensures MEP services follow approved drawings, technical standards, safety norms, and project timelines.
The position supports South Projects at J P Nagar, Amberstone Properties.
Design and Planning
- Review MEP drawings, GFC drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, and MEP consultants for design clarifications.
- Participate in value engineering to optimize project cost and efficiency.
Execution and Site Supervision
- Plan and monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
- Plan and monitor electrical systems including LT/HT systems, cables, panels, and lighting.
- Plan and monitor plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and ELV systems including CCTV, access control, and networking.
- Ensure work quality meets IS, NBC, IEC, and safety requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
