About the Job

  • Maximize sales and market share of assigned Opella products in the designated area by conducting sales promotions in line with Company strategy, rules and local regulations.
  • Support the District Manager / Sales Manager in knowledge transfer to new hires.

Key Results / Accountabilities

  • Promote Opella products.
  • Conduct regular visits of pharmacies to monitor product availability and movement.
  • Introduction of new products.
  • Use sales techniques and operational tools to achieve sales objectives.
  • Supply quality medical information to healthcare professionals in compliance with professional ethics.
  • Identify customers and manage sales promotion to target doctors to achieve targets.
  • Develop weekly and monthly visit plans in consultation with line manager.
  • Maintain and update product and competition knowledge.
  • Identify and establish new business.
  • Update all required information on doctor cards and list.
  • Implement ongoing targeting and profiling of customers.
  • Communicate regularly with key opinion leaders and report market feedback.

  • Abide by the requirements of the internal Code of Ethics.
  • Maintain high professional standards of conduct in line with Company procedure.

Ethical Leadership

  • Take personal accountability to maintain good knowledge of ethics and governance.
  • Escalate decisions if personal knowledge is insufficient.

Environmental and Safety Leadership

  • Support and conform to Company safety rules and procedures.
  • Report any accident, incident or near miss.
  • Assist in the investigation of accidents.
