Medical Receptionist

The role is a casual, Medical Receptionist position, available to work shifts across the week ( Monday to Friday ) between 8am and 5pm.

This role is based at our Mount Isa clinic.

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
• Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
• Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
• Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
• Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.

✅ Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.

✅ Relevant reception/customer service experience.

✅ Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.
