Overview
- The Institute of Preventative Medicine is looking for a Medical Concierge to manage patient appointments and provide secretarial support to doctors.
- Full time role with flexibility of remote working, shift work catering to all time zones.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage daily emails in multiple inboxes.
- Effectively and politely handle calls.
- Carry out regulatory research and execute regulatory requirements with guidance.
- Utilize patient management software in keeping with up to date admin protocols.
- Manage incoming results, clinic letters, and noteworthy emails.
- Process patient lab results and ensure timely review by doctors.
- Book and assist with smooth running of Zoom meetings.
- Manage end to end external bookings for patients.
- Carry out ad hoc tasks such as restaurant, courier, and taxi bookings.
- Manage end to end internal bookings for patients.
- Maintain utmost discretion and confidentiality.
- Foster strong communication across medical and non medical staff.
Essential Skills
- Empathetic to patients and staff.
- Forward thinking with exceptional attention to detail.
- Very experienced with Microsoft Word/Excel +/ Mac.
- Excellent telephone manner and adaptable communication.
- Ability to work and think independently.
- Willing to improve/build upon current skill set.
- Passionate and process driven.
- Ability to communicate with internationals and work through language barriers.
- Strong work ethic and verbal/written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Previous experience in private healthcare is advantageous.
Compensation
- Pay: AED 7,000 AED 9,000 per month.
