Role Overview
Join Viola Communications’ Public Relations unit as a bilingual Media Relations Executive.
Build media relationships across the UAE and wider region while delivering proactive media relations programs for clients.
The role requires hands-on UAE media relations experience and an established Arabic- and English-language media network.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and key media contacts.
- Identify media opportunities and pitch stories, interviews, features, and opinion pieces.
- Secure coverage aligned with client communications objectives.
- Manage the monthly interview calendar and coordinate media engagements.
- Support spokesperson preparation for interviews and other media opportunities.
- Coordinate media activity at press conferences, events, briefings, and client activations.
- Respond to media inquiries and coordinate among journalists, clients, and internal teams.
- Maintain media databases, contact lists, and coverage logs.
- Monitor the media landscape and identify relevant opportunities for clients.
