Role Overview
- The Media Archive Administrator is responsible for the overall management of the Archive system.
- He/she collects content, both video and photo, from teams across the department and tags and stores them within the archive system.
- The role holder is expected to have strong teamwork skills and carry out duties in accordance with relevant business policies and procedures.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the Archive, keeping it up to date with new photos and videos.
- Work collaboratively with the Media Archive Administrator and Private Content Planning team to obtain additional content for the private channel.
- Provide metrics and supporting documents to the Section Head to support monthly KPI reports.
- Ensure the archive system is kept up to date, with access provided as needed to internal departments and external entities.
- Assess, design and develop platform and grant access to entities for photos from previous year.
- Receive, tag and organize photos and videos, including tags to identify used vs unused content, specific frames within videos that are noteworthy, and descriptions.
- Coordinate with Media Center to provide selected unpublished photos to be archived in the asset bank.
- Work collaboratively with Photographers, Videographers and Montage and Photo Executive to obtain raw and edited photos and videos for storage.
- Support the Montage and Photo Executive with content for videos and photo montages as needed.
- Support the MCR Operator with content for the Private Channel as needed.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- A minimum of 3 years working in a team.
- Bachelor's degree in library science, information science, archival studies or similar.

- Successful tagging for retrieval of content across the archive system (%)
- Successful sharing of archived content with external entities (%)
