Job Description
The Mechanical Tools/Electrical Calibration Technician is responsible for performing accurate calibration, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical measuring instruments, with a primary focus on torque wrenches, calipers and micrometers and performing calibrations on Fluke Network test equipment.
The role ensures compliance with quality standards (such as ISO 9000 and ISO 17025) and contributes to reliable and consistent measurement results.
Responsibilities
- Perform calibration of mechanical measuring equipment
- Perform calibrations of Fluke Network products
- Prepare calibration certificates in accordance with applicable standards and procedures
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical deviations or issues
- Perform minor repairs and adjustments when required
- Follow established procedures, work instructions, and quality standards (e.g., ISO 17025)
- Accurately record measurement data in relevant systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean / Kaizen) within the laboratory
