About the Role
Client of Universal Staffing Services seeks a Mechanical Technician (Static) for Qatar District Cooling Company in Doha. The role involves overhaul, preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of mechanical static equipment such as pumps, cooling towers, tanks, and AHUs.

Responsibilities
- Carry out overhaul, preventive, corrective, predictive, breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting and diagnostic activities related to mechanical static aspects of process and non process equipment
- Supervise, guide and monitor work done by external vendors
- Prepare and submit technical log reports, checklist or forms as part of daily routine work
- Obtain spare parts, materials, and consumables either from internal store or external location
- Utilize, maintain and safe keep specific tools assigned by company
- Maintain proper tools, PPE's, Spares and provide annual requirements
- Respond to emergency situations during or after hours as part of business continuity
- Utilize Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) as per QCFE
- Aid and support to other team members within and across the discipline, whenever required
- Participate in QC provided training as deemed fit by management
- Perform any other related duty as assigned by the immediate supervisor
Requirements
- Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate
- Minimum of 5 years working experience
- Experience with mechanical static equipment: pumps, cooling towers, tanks, AHUs, filtration systems, chemical dosing systems
