A client in Qatar is seeking a Mechanical Technician with at least 5 years of experience to perform overhaul, preventive, and corrective maintenance on rotating equipment such as pumps, cooling towers, compressors, and cranes.

Responsibilities
- Carry out overhaul, preventive, corrective, predictive, breakdown maintenance, troubleshoot, and diagnostic activities related to mechanical rotating aspects of process and non process equipment
- Maintain pumps, cooling towers, air compressors, AHU fans, overhead cranes, forklifts, manlifts, and fan coil units
- Supervise, guide, and monitor work done by external vendors
- Prepare and submit technical log reports, checklists, or forms
- Obtain spare parts, materials, and consumables from internal store or external location
- Utilize, maintain, and safe keep specific tools assigned by company
- Respond to emergency situations during or after hours
- Utilize Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in mechanical maintenance of rotating equipment
- Experience with pumps, cooling towers, air compressors, AHU fans, overhead cranes, forklifts, manlifts, and fan coil units
- Ability to supervise and guide external vendors
- Proficiency in using CMMS
- Ability to respond to emergency situations during or after hours

Responsibilities
- Carry out overhaul, preventive, corrective, predictive, breakdown maintenance, troubleshoot, and diagnostic activities related to MECHANICAL ROTATING ASPECTS of process and non process equipment and its sub systems.
- Maintain pumps, cooling towers, air compressors, AHU fans, overhead cranes, forklifts, manlifts, and fan coil units.
- Supervise, guide, and monitor work done by external vendors.
- Prepare and submit technical log reports, checklist or forms as part of daily routine work.
- Obtain spare parts, materials, and consumables either from internal store or external location.
- Utilize, maintain and safe keep specific tools assigned by company.
- Respond to emergency situations during or after hours as part of business continuity.
- Utilize Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) as per QCFE.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years working experience is required for this position.
- Experience with pumps, cooling towers, air compressors, AHU fans, overhead cranes, forklifts, manlifts, and fan coil units.
- Ability to supervise and guide external vendors.
- Proficiency in using CMMS.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations during or after hours.
