- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on thermal power plant equipment
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair rotating and stationary equipment
- Carry out equipment alignment, bearing replacement, vibration checks, and mechanical overhauls
- Execute maintenance activities during plant shutdowns and turnaround projects
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, maintenance manuals, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, permit to work systems, and HSE regulations
- Maintain maintenance records and prepare reports
- Coordinate with supervisors and operations teams
- Assist in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems
Requirements
- Hands on experience in thermal power plants
- Experience with rotating and stationary equipment
- Ability to read engineering drawings and P&IDs
- Knowledge of safety procedures and permit to work systems

Job Summary
- We are seeking experienced Mechanical Technicians with hands on experience in Thermal Power Plants for a long term assignment in Saudi Arabia.
- The candidate will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of mechanical equipment to ensure safe and reliable plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on thermal power plant equipment.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair rotating and stationary equipment such as pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, valves, gearboxes, and conveyors.
- Carry out equipment alignment, bearing replacement, vibration checks, and mechanical overhauls.
- Execute maintenance activities during plant shutdowns and turnaround projects.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, maintenance manuals, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures, permit to work systems, and HSE regulations.
- Maintain maintenance records and prepare reports on completed work.
- Coordinate with supervisors and operations teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Assist in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems when required.
