Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage mechanical teams involved in equipment erection, alignment, testing, and associated mechanical works
- Organize daily work activities, manpower, tools, and equipment to achieve planned productivity
- Ensure mechanical works are executed per approved method statements, procedures, drawings, and specifications
- Carry out and supervise equipment and piping alignment activities
- Plan and organize construction activities for optimum productivity, quality, and safety
- Coordinate with Mechanical Engineers, Superintendents, QA/QC, and other departments
- Identify requirements for scaffolding, lifting, tools, and site services in advance
- Prepare material requisitions as per drawings and site requirements
- Obtain and comply with Permit to Work requirements for assigned activities
- Ensure all works comply with Permit to Work conditions and project HSE procedures
- Enforce safe work practices and proper use of tools, equipment, and PPE
- Carry out material inspections and review Material Test Certificates
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial or oil & gas mechanical works, including piping, pipe support fabrication, erection, and pressure testing
- Strong knowledge of piping materials, welding consumables, and welder qualification ranges
- Familiarity with applicable international standards and specifications related to piping and welding
- Proficient in reading and interpreting piping drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, GA drawings, and engineering documents
- Experience in preparation of pressure test packages, checklists, and mechanical completion documentation
- Ability to manage workforce, tools, equipment, welding machines, and rigging accessories
- Conversant with project HSE requirements, work practices, and quality standards
- Good coordination, communication, and reporting skills
- Ability to work effectively in a site based, fast paced construction environment

Job Summary
- The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating mechanical construction activities on site, including equipment erection, piping works, testing, and alignment.
- Ensures all mechanical works are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality requirements, and HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities
