Role Overview
Lead mechanical design review, construction support, commissioning, testing, and engineering activities for new shale gas facilities.
Provide technical leadership from engineering design and installation through commissioning, startup, operations support, and optimization.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support Saudi Aramco capital investment and business strategy initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design reviews for new installation and upgrade projects.
- Develop and review engineering design packages, PFDs, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
- Provide day-to-day technical support to Operations and Maintenance teams.
- Troubleshoot static and rotating equipment issues and recommend solutions.
- Support construction, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Participate in Turnaround and Inspection activities and performance testing.
- Conduct feasibility studies and recommend technical and economic optimization solutions.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, prepare technical reports, and support management decisions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical, or gas processing facilities.
- Strong experience with static equipment including vessels, exchangers, columns, tanks, and reactors.
- Good knowledge of rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, and turbines.
- Experience in FEED, detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Strong knowledge of ASME, API, and TEMA codes and standards.
- Working knowledge of PVElite, CAESAR II, and HTRI.
- Strong communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
Preferred Qualification
- A master’s degree is preferred.
