Mechanical Insulation Estimator

range : $ annual base salary plus eligibility for the non-guaranteed annualized bonus program

This position is safety sensitive.

• Must have at least 3-5 years of professional experience estimating construction projects
• Must have e xperience estimating the mechanical insulation scope of construction subcontracts
• Strong ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI’s scopes of work
• Has a s trong record of establishing and maintaining successful customer relationships
• Displays e xcellent verbal communication
• Demonstrates strong customer service skills with an ability to foster professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Possesses a h igh level of attention to detail and cost analysis competency
• Ability to accurately read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work
• Must have p roficiency with digital construction takeoff and estimating software , such as On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid
• Proven ability to proactively identify opportunities, think creatively to develop solutions, and drive results in a competitive environment
• Must be able to effectively collaborate within a team

• Multiple years' experience estimating mechanical insulation on non-residential construction projects is highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management preferred
• OSHA c ertifications
• Local to the Kansas City area preferred
