About the Role

Responsibilities
- Inspect mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, LPG (where applicable), chilled water systems, and associated building services.
- Review contractor Inspection Requests (IRs) and conduct inspections in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Verify that installed materials comply with approved material submittals and project specifications.
- Witness pressure testing, flushing, balancing, testing, pre commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Identify non conforming works and issue inspection observations and reports.
- Verify completion of corrective actions before approving completed works.
- Coordinate inspections with Resident Engineers, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Review inspection reports, testing records, and quality documentation.
- Maintain accurate inspection logs and daily reports.
- Participate in quality audits and project handover inspections.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, HSE, Environmental, and project governance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (where applicable)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Inspector
- Previous experience on residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed use developments
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and relevant international standards
- Ability to review shop drawings and inspection documentation
- Experience with testing and commissioning procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Qualifications

Experience

Professional Certifications
- Saudi Council of Engineers Registration (preferred)
