Purpose of the Position
- Mechanical Engineer Lead rotating equipment engineering activities in accordance with project requirements within assigned budget, time schedule, and quality standards.
Tasks
- Provide technical support for development, feasibility, and bidding phases
- Prepare rotating equipment technical documentation for inquiry and evaluate vendor bids
- Support project machinery lead in defining engineering requirements and interface with other disciplines
- Prepare technical documentation for requisitions (specifications, data sheets)
- Review and finalize vendor drawings, attend internal review meetings
- Provide support for expediting, testing, and document management
- Support construction and start up activities
