Mechanical Engineer P.E

Kundlas Consulting Group LLC is a professional consulting firm specializing in construction inspection and compliance services for public infrastructure projects. The Mechanical Engineer will support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) READI contract by designing HVAC and mechanical systems that support emergency operations, temporary facilities, infrastructure recovery, and resiliency projects. This role provides mechanical engineering expertise for the assessment, design, rehabilitation, and optimization of building mechanical systems impacted by disasters and emergency events.

The Mechanical Engineer will develop engineering solutions for heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, fuel systems, and other mechanical infrastructure necessary to support emergency response and recovery operations. The position requires collaboration with architects, electrical engineers, civil engineers, construction personnel, and government stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable, energy-efficient, and code-compliant mechanical system designs.
