Job Description
The Mechanical Draftsman role is in the HRM Mechanical Project Maintenance department at Jindal Stainless Limited.
The position focuses on preparing and maintaining detailed mechanical drawings for equipment and project work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare CAD drawings specifying dimensions, materials, fabrication details, and machining details.
- Interpret architectural and engineering designs to understand structural requirements.
- Calculate steel and other material quantities required for projects.
- Prepare bills of materials for complete equipment assemblies.
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to resolve design issues and support constructability.
- Revise drawings after site inspections and in response to design or regulatory changes.
Experience
- The role requires five to ten years of experience.
