Mechanical Drafter

We are seeking a Mechanical Drafter to support the design and documentation of medium voltage switchgear, E-House systems, and related power distribution equipment.

This role works closely with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to develop detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for engineered-to-order products.

The Mechanical Drafter will support both new product designs and ongoing production updates, including incorporation of manufacturing redlines and engineering revisions. Projects may include medium voltage switchgear assemblies, bus systems, structural supports, equipment mounting arrangements, skid systems, and modular E-House structures ranging from simple walk-in enclosures to larger data center power modules.The ideal candidate has 2-4+ years of drafting experience in industrial or manufacturing environments and is proficient with SolidWorks.

• Create and maintain 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings using SolidWorks
• Produce engineering documentation including: General arrangement drawings Switchgear assembly layouts Structural support drawings Bus and compartment layouts Equipment mounting details Skid and base assembly drawings E-House structural and mechanical layouts Sheet metal and welded assembly details Bill of materials (BOMs)
