Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah for a Mechanical Designer and Draughtsman specializing in MV/LV Switchgear and AC/DC Panels.
The primary responsibilities include preparing detailed technical drawings, creating mechanical designs for switchgear panels, and leveraging computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
The role involves contributing to research and development projects and collaborating with engineering teams to meet project specifications and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing, with attention to detail and understanding of MV/LV Switchgear and AC/DC Panel designs
- Expertise in Machine Design and Mechanical Engineering with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create accurate and precise technical drawings
- Knowledge and experience in Research and Development (R&D) for improving and innovating designs
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site engineering team in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance is an advantage
