Join our Team as a Mechanical Design Engineering Co-Op !
We’re seeking a motivated Mechanical Design Engineering Co-Op to join our team in Summer and/or Fall 2027 ! This co-op hands-on experience in where you’ll work on meaningful projects and gain insight into the design, analysis, and testing of cutting-edge mechanical systems that power the future mobility – including lithium-ion batteries and hydrogen fuel cells. You’ll collaborate with the Rochester Development Center team, as well as mentors and leadership, building skills that will help launch your career!
Design and develop mechanical components and systems for advanced energy solutions.
Perform hands-on system troubleshooting on test benches, in R&D labs, and during vehicle-level integration testing.
Analyze test data, extract insights, and generate technical documentation and test reports.

Available to be onsite at our Rochester, NY location in Summer 2027 and/or Fall 2027
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
This is an in-person role located at our Rochester, NY office—ideal for those who thrive in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
Wage - $20.50 per hour & up. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
