The Mechanical Engineering role is responsible for designing specialized tools used in nuclear services field work. This position supports tooling design, fabrication oversight, and tool implementation during nuclear field execution.
Design conceptual service tools for machining, welding, inspection, and related field applications.
Develop detailed design plans and conduct tool design reviews.
Consult and collaborate with nuclear services project engineers, component project engineers, field technicians, and boilermakers.
Engage with fabrication vendors and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.
Produce manufacturing drawings and documentation required for tool fabrication.
Support and review tool testing, adjustments, and modifications during project execution.
When required, provide hands-on oversight during field implementation of critical tooling activities in a nuclear power plant environment.
