Mechanical Design Engineer 1

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Applied Science or equivalent.
• Typically less than 5 years of experience in a nuclear service environment.
• Experience working with fabrication vendors (desired).
• Exposure to field tooling applications in nuclear services (desired).
• Strong ability to collaborate with multi‑disciplinary technical teams (desired).
• Security Clearance: This role requires the successful candidate to complete the security clearance process. The security clearance process is conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) and may take up to 12 months to complete.

• The base salary range for this position in Ontario (CA-ON) at the start of employment is expected to be between $88000 and $129000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
