Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and fit engines and mechanical components
- Carry out basic mechanical adjustments and minor repairs
- Inspect parts for faults, wear, or damage
- Assist with general workshop and warehouse tasks
- Support stock handling, loading/unloading as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all workplace health & safety procedures
About You
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience who enjoys workshop-based work and being part of a team.
You may have worked as a:
Trade Assistant (mechanical/workshop)
Light Vehicle or Diesel Mechanic
Mechanical Fitter or Assembler
Automotive Technician
3rd or 4th Year Apprentice
You’ll also:
Have strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Be reliable, punctual and safety-focused
Enjoy practical, hands-on work
Be willing to learn and support across the team
Work well independently and as part of a team
Desirable (Not Essential)
Trade qualification (or currently completing apprenticeship)
Workshop, assembly, or production experience
Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain — training provided)
