About the Role

Teach Mathematics to students in Grades 4, 5, and 6 in Jeddah.

Deliver clear, engaging, and interactive lessons that build mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills.

The role requires strong subject knowledge, confident classroom delivery, and the ability to explain concepts naturally.

Location

  • The role is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, or requires willingness and ability to relocate to Jeddah.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Grades 4–6.
  • Teach concepts using practical examples, demonstrations, and problem-solving activities.
  • Use interactive and student-centered methods to encourage participation, questioning, critical thinking, and independent learning.
  • Deliver lessons in line with international curriculum standards and school academic expectations.
  • Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, homework, quizzes, examinations, and other learning materials.
  • Assess student performance, monitor progress, provide feedback, and offer additional support.
  • Adapt teaching methods for different learning abilities.
  • Maintain a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Develop students’ numerical reasoning, analytical thinking, and confidence in Mathematics.
  • Collaborate with academic leadership, teachers, and parents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
  • At least 2 years of Mathematics teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching British or American school curricula is required.
  • Previous experience teaching elementary or lower-middle-school students, particularly Grades 4–6, is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent English communication skills with clear, confident pronunciation and classroom delivery.
  • Strong ability to explain mathematical concepts naturally without relying heavily on textbooks, slides, or prepared scripts.
  • An engaging, interactive, and student-focused teaching style.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop students’ mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and independent thinking.
