Math Classroom Teacher

Role Overview

Teaching Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Mathematics lessons for students in Grades 4, 5, and 6.
• Teach concepts using practical examples, demonstrations, and problem-solving activities.
• Use interactive, student-centered methods that encourage participation, questioning, critical thinking, and independent learning.
• Deliver lessons in line with international curriculum standards and school academic expectations.

Planning and Assessment

• Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, homework, quizzes, examinations, and other learning materials.
• Assess student performance, monitor individual progress, provide feedback, and offer additional support.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning abilities and address Mathematics difficulties.

Classroom and Collaboration

• Maintain a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Collaborate with academic leadership, other teachers, and parents to support student development and academic performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• Minimum two years of Mathematics teaching experience.
• Experience teaching British or American school curricula is required.
• Previous experience teaching elementary or lower-middle-school students, particularly Grades 4–6, is strongly preferred.

Required Capabilities

• Excellent English communication skills with clear, confident pronunciation and classroom delivery.
• Ability to explain mathematical concepts naturally without relying heavily on textbooks, slides, or prepared scripts.
• Engaging, interactive, and student-focused teaching style.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to develop mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and independent thinking.

Location

• The role is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; candidates must be based there or willing and able to relocate.
