Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Mathematics Teacher role for Grades 1–2 based in Jeddah.
The teacher will plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate mathematics lessons aligned with the school’s standards-based curriculum.
The role includes supporting students’ curiosity, confidence, and foundational mathematics skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans and teach core mathematical concepts.
- Assess student progress and provide differentiated support for diverse learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with families and colleagues.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and collaborative curriculum initiatives.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of mathematics and mathematics education for early primary grades.
- Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development aligned with standards-based learning.
- Qualified-teacher status with relevant teaching certification or license.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
- Experience teaching early primary grades is preferred, particularly in an international or standards-based school setting.
- Ability to use varied instructional strategies and classroom management techniques.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to professional growth, school policies, safeguarding standards, and ethical teaching practices.
