Role Description

The Kindergarten English Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah.

The teacher will provide foundational English instruction and support young learners’ academic and social-emotional development.

Teaching and Learning

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons covering phonics, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Design age-appropriate activities and contribute to curriculum development aligned with school standards.
  • Use educational technology and digital tools to support learning.

Classroom and Student Support

  • Manage the classroom environment and create an inclusive, safe, and engaging setting for diverse learners.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to learners and guardians.
  • Support students’ social and emotional development in a nurturing environment.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Maintain clear communication with families and collaborate with other educators.
  • Participate in school events and work effectively within a multicultural team.

Qualifications

  • Strong English teaching and teaching skills appropriate for early childhood learners.
  • Lesson planning and education skills for structured, standards-based kindergarten lessons.
  • Effective communication skills for students, families, and colleagues.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, early childhood education, English, or a related field.
  • Previous kindergarten or early primary English teaching experience is required; international or standards-based school experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Ability to create an inclusive, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Comfort working in a girls’ school and collaborating within a multicultural team.
  • Professional teaching certification or license is an advantage.

Location and Work Arrangement

  • The role is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and is performed on site.
