Sira is seeking a Math Teacher to teach Mathematics to students in Grades 4, 5, and 6 in Jeddah.
The role requires clear subject explanation, confident classroom delivery, and engaging instruction that builds mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills.
Teaching responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Grades 4–6.
- Use practical examples, demonstrations, problem-solving activities, and student-centered methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, activities, homework, quizzes, examinations, and learning materials.
- Assess progress, provide feedback, and adapt instruction for different learning abilities.
- Maintain a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Collaborate with academic leadership, teachers, and parents to support student development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
- Minimum 2 years of Mathematics teaching experience.
- Experience teaching British or American school curricula is required.
- Elementary or lower-middle-school teaching experience, particularly Grades 4–6, is strongly preferred.
- Excellent English communication, pronunciation, and classroom delivery skills.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and student-focused teaching abilities.
Instructional capabilities
- Explain mathematical concepts naturally without relying heavily on textbooks, slides, or prepared scripts.
- Develop students’ mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and independent learning.
- Use interactive teaching methods that encourage participation, questioning, and critical thinking.
Location requirement
- Candidates should be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, or willing and able to relocate to Jeddah.
