Shipping and Receiving
Partner with Customer Service, Planning, Operations, and Procurement teams to ensure customer commitments are met through accurate and timely execution of shipping and receiving activities.

Ensure compliance with customer routing requirements, shipping instructions, regulatory requirements, and internal operational procedures.

Manage inbound and outbound logistics activities, including carrier selection, performance management, freight optimization, and coordination with Procurement on strategic transportation initiatives.
Develop strong relationships with carriers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to improve communication, service levels, and issue resolution
Support the evaluation, selection, and management of third-party logistics (3PL) partners to improve customer service, transportation efficiency, and total cost of ownership
Continuous Improvement and Performance Management
Develop and deploy the best operational practices, controls, and standard work that can be leveraged across the AWT network to improve consistency, productivity, and service levels.
Establish performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to shipping accuracy, inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, warehouse productivity, freight cost, and service performance.
Identify and resolve material flow, warehouse, inventory, and logistics issues that negatively impact customer service, operational efficiency, or financial performance.
Lead investigations and corrective actions related to inventory discrepancies, shipping errors, delivery failures, and warehouse process breakdowns.
Champion the adoption of best practices, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance material flow, inventory accuracy, logistics performance, and customer satisfaction.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on warehouse operations, warehouse layout optimization, material handling efficiency, inventory management, and transportation performance.
