Key Responsiblities
Optimise inventory levels to support service and working capital targets
Monitor stock availability and drive DIFOT performance
Manage safety stock settings in line with company policies
Identify and reduce surplus, excess and slow-moving inventory
Coordinate inventory distribution across branches and locations
Analyse inventory performance and provide actionable insights
Maintain accurate inventory master data and system integrity
Support CSI and quality-related inventory initiatives
Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies
Prepare and maintain inventory reports, documentation and records
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
Skills & Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Experience in inventory management, materials planning, purchasing or supply chain operations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
Well-developed computer skills and experience working with ERP systems
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
A customer-focused approach and commitment toachieving outcomes
Preferred
Supply Chain, Logistics or Inventory Management qualification
Several years of experience within parts, inventory or supply chain environments
Experience working within industrial, mining, heavy equipment or manufacturing sectors
Highly Regarded
Certificate IV in Purchasing or equivalent
Experience with BAAN or similar ERP systems
Knowledge of inventory optimisation, demand planning or Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP)
