Role Description
- The Material Planner is a part time role responsible for ensuring that medical and non medical supplies are available to support daily operations at MEDPLUS MEDICAL CENTER.
- This hybrid role is based in Dubai, with a combination of on site work and some work from home flexibility.
- Day to day tasks include planning materials requirements, monitoring stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, preparing and tracking purchase orders, and aligning inventory with service demand.
- The Material Planner will collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to forecast usage, prevent stock outs or overstock situations, and maintain accurate records within the materials management and inventory systems.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Production Planning and Materials Management to forecast demand and schedule supply effectively.
- Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Control and Purchase Orders to manage stock levels, reorder points, and supplier transactions accurately.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret usage data, identify trends, and support cost effective procurement decisions.
- Relevant experience in healthcare, hospital, or clinical supply chain environments is beneficial.
- Knowledge of ERP or inventory management software, and proficiency with MS Excel or similar tools is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field is an advantage.
